This has been a great place to live. I'm leaving after a couple of years here, because of moving to another state, but if I was staying in Colorado I would definitely have renewed again. I was in building 13 and my balcony was a hummingbird garden all spring and summer! Zero traffic noise, a nice little park right next door, very short trip to the nearest supermarket. I have lived here now for a couple years and couldn't be happier!! After living in several not so great apartments around this area and in Denver this has been the first place that ever felt like home. The leasing office and management (especially Angel) have been amazing and have always made sure I am comfortable and have everything I need! I've lived in several apartment complexes, but Americana Lakewood has truly been my favorite so far. Americana has been a safe, clean, and lovely place to call home. From day one, the entire staff has been wonderful, starting with the initial tour. Angel and the leasing office staff are incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. No SECURITY At All! my mailbox has been broken into 2 times no security or measures of preventing another theft. ALSO THEY ALLOW AGGRESIVE DOGS ON THE PROPERTY I HAVE A LEASH AGGRESSIVE DOG THAT LIVES BELOW ME THAT HAS LUNGE AND AGGRESSIVELY BARKS AT MY DOG FOR NO REASON CALLED ANIMAL CONTROL Twice can't do anything unless it attacks my dog. when I first moved in 2012 there was no theft and maintenance fixed things right away but they must be short staffed it takes them almost a week to fix things. Beautiful place, spacious gorgeous apartment with a cozy fireplace, quiet and safe, great maintenance people, quick and friendly and efficient, professional but very thoughtful and caring staff in the office go above and beyond, (my fave: they schedule food trucks to come here often!) gorgeous trees everywhere you look!
