This is a wonderful family friendly apartment complex. There is a children’s playground, a bark park for your dog, barbecues, and even a cornhole area. There’s a beautiful swimming pool with seating and umbrellas. The landscaping is maintained beautifully and maintenance does a great job with any request. The property manager Crystal does a great job.
I had to re-write about my experience here at the Tallows, because since my last review I have changed my mind about this place. At the start of our lease we had issues with maintenance but recently chamberlain and also management here at The Tallows have been very positive and responsive. We were compensated a little bit for some slight damages and had our ceiling fixed promptly after some complaints were made. WARNING: DO NOT MOVE HERE. If you value your safety, peace of mind, and hard-earned money—stay far away from The Tallows at Peoria. This place is a complete nightmare masked by cheap cosmetic bandages. The units are falling apart—roofs leak, ceilings cave in, and when you report it, management either ignores you or throws some paint over the damage like that’ll fix it. I’ve lived here going on 3 years now and I love it ! Their apartments are well maintenance's, they recently added a gym(not open yet), the pool is kept cleaned, definitely kid friendly it would be 5 star if they had washer and dryer in the apartment unit ! The laundry unit here isn’t the greatest but gets the job done. Overall great apartments !
Took my money for an administration fee that was refundable the woman in the office never answered or called back from the voicemail when it didn't return to my card in the 2wks/10 business days I waited. Thoroughly look at them cause the area wasnt for me and my daughters (the homeless, drugs ext) But don't give any money to them unless you actually want to move in you'll never get it back.
